Florida Healing Academy
The Healing Academy is designed to equip students and spouses with the wisdom, dispositions and practical skills to engage in the ministry of Christian healing, through participation in a supervised practicum-oriented training school.
Conference Recap
The Florida Healing Academy had a conference March 3-4 on the Florida Dunnam campus. An Introduction to the Healing Academy was given by Rev. Peg Hutchins, Asbury Director of Healing and Spiritual Formation. The introduction and a session on “Becoming A Prayer Minister” were streamed live so that ExL students could hear about the Healing Academy. Florida Cohort Training
The Florida cohort meets each Tuesday from 12-1pm for weekly training and coaching with Peg Hutchins via Skype. The group meets in the Community Formation office.
Prayer Initiatives
The Healing Academy will be participating in new Florida Dunnam campus prayer initiatives including Intercessory Prayer times, and Healing Prayer Ministry after chapel on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Prayer appointments are available by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information, email florida.healing.academy@asburyseminary.edu.
April Retreat
The next Florida cohort event will be April 6-8. Details will be forthcoming regarding the event which will most likely be in a retreat center. We look forward to being together again!
